How’s the driving?

it depends. People here drive pretty crazy, but if you’re on the highways and in small towns it’s super manageable. Santo Domingo is crazy, Higuey is crazy, some parts of Punta Cana are a little hectic, but super manageable.

you gotta be more aware than you are at home, expect less from people and drive defensive. but in general, you’ll be fine. Rent the car, explore the country, cut people off, it’ll be great.
